About Greg
Revelation’s visions of the throne bring spiritual clarity, inviting us to jettison our idols, reorient our priorities around God, and renew our commitment to follow the Lamb.
Greg Robbins
Greg has over thirty years of congregational ministry experience within the Stone-Campbell tradition, ministering with churches in Tennessee, Illinois, Ohio, and Indiana. Greg currently serves as the Discipleship Minister of the Cadiz Christian Church near New Castle, Indiana.
Greg holds a Bachelor of Arts in Bible and Preaching from Johnson University (1995), a Master of Arts in Church History (2021) and Master of Divinity (2002) from Lincoln Christian Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry (2016) from Emmanuel Christian Seminary at Milligan University.
In 2016-17, Greg served as an adjunct professor of Bible with Mount Vernon Nazarene University in Mount Vernon, Ohio. Since 2018, he has served as an occasional adjunct professor of ministry with Johnson University.
Greg was blessed to have studied Revelation and eschatology with the late Robert Lowery of Lincoln Christian Seminary. A highlight of his time at LCS was participating in a class retreat with Dr. Lowery in October of 2005. During this retreat, the class reviewed and discussed an early draft of Professor Lowery’s seminal book, Revelation’s Rhapsody. Since his time at LCS, Greg has continued to study Revelation, being discipled by the works of esteemed scholars such as Craig Koester, GK Beale, and Richard Bauckham.
For over twenty-five years, Greg has taught and shared his love of Revelation with the local church. Greg’s goal is to remove the fear and confusion often associated with the Bible’s most mysterious book so that God’s people can understand and be encouraged by Revelation’s practical and hope-filled message.
Greg has been married to his wife, best friend, and ministry partner Traci for over thirty years. Greg and Traci have two adult daughters, Holly and Shelby.
